What are the Blackwater Projects TAE10 resources?

Blackwater Projects can offer your RTO everything you need to deliver and assess TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment from one place, and in soft copy.

Blackwater Projects offers a complete suite of resources for the 7 core units and 3 elective units from TAE40110 qualification.  See the FAQs for a list of resources available for elective units.

Resources are aligned to version 2 of the TAE10 Training Package.

Assessment tools have been independently validated

  • Training and assessment pathway assessment tools were validated on 13 May 2010 by a group of 16 learning and development professionals representing 10 different Registered Training Organisations.  Click here for a copy of the validation report.
  • Recognition assessment kits were validated on 15 July 2010 by a group of 6 learning and development professionals representing 5 different Registered Organisations.  Click here for a copy of the validation report.

Industry consultation

Between late 2009 and March 2010 I sought feedback from clients and others about what they wanted from the resources.  I asked for two types of feedback:

  1. Suggestions for preferred TAE40110 elective units. This survey was open to anyone who wanted to complete it.  Click here for a one-page summary showing the three most popular elective units.  I've included these units in the resources.
  2. Feedback on our TAA40104 resources. This survey was open to clients who already use the Blackwater Projects TAA40104 resources.  Click here for a detailed report summarising feedback received.  This feedback has guided how I've set up the TAE40110 resources.
  3. Ongoing feedback.  Since launching the TAE40110 resources, I've been grateful for the ongoing client feedback we've received, highlighting both strengths and opportunities to improve the resources.
